Felseneck Eiswein 2020 DEMI

The 2020 Bockenauer Felseneck Riesling Eiswein is precise, fresh and concentrated on the lemon-scented and flinty-salty nose. Dense and highly finessed and elegant on the palate, this is a precise and saline, lemon-fresh and concentrated but vital and finely tannic Eiswein that possibly has a very slight TCA infection. The delicacy is outstanding, but I am not rating this due to some percentage of doubt. 6.5% stated alcohol. 375-milliliter bottles. Natural cork.

From the first run off the press, the remarkably bright, radiant and citrus-colored 2020 Bockenauer Felseneck Riesling Eiswein (Gold Capsule) is pure, precise and lemony on the concentrated and spicy as well as slatey nose. Clear, lush and refined on the palate, this is a persistently saline and stimulating Eiswein with a long and salivating finish that is truly irresistible. This is a beauty made for the ages. With no over-concentration in anything, not even sweetness, this is a filigreed, super precise ice wine from one of Germany's greatest vineyards. 6% stated alcohol. 375-milliliter bottles.
